Choose 1 of the articles from this Module to read. What does the article you read indicate about the role of religion in coping? Discuss the article; then discuss aspects of the human genome project that you find interesting and/or discuss a theory of adult development as it pertains to your own life experience.

Some questions to consider in writing your post:

· Does religion help people cope? If so, in what ways?

· How would you respond to someone who says Christianity is just a coping strategy?

· What are the implications of the human genome project for the study of adult psychology?

· Which theory of adult development do you find most compelling, and why?

· If you discuss a theory that involves stages, what stage do you see yourself as being in?

· Are there any stages in your life so far that seem to be of special significance in forming the person you are today? If so, discuss this significance.

You do not need to specifically answer each of the above questions or address each topic. They are provided to give you a starting point from which to think about this Module’s material. Discuss whatever you find particularly interesting about this Module’s material but be sure to include something in your post about the article you read. You may also incorporate sources other than those from the course materials.
